However, there may come a time when their needs exceed what you can provide on your own, especially in emergencies or as their health declines. During these challenging times, our skilled nursing services can help provide the specialized care your loved ones require, giving you peace of mind and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Our Skilled Nursing Services include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring vital signs
- Obtaining a pertinent medical history
- Observing and assessing your loved one’s condition
- Administer medications, including oral, intravenous, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and nebulized. Removal fecal impaction
- Monitoring feeding tubes (i.e., gastronomy, nasogastric, or jejunostomy)
- Providing ostomy care
- Providing routine bladder care, including foley catheter and supra pubic catheter care
- Changing sterile dressings
- Providing wound care (may include teaching and training of wound care to recipient’s family member/representative
- Assessing Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Monitoring the administration of oxygen, blood gasses, and individual response
- Providing rehabilitative nursing
- Collecting specimens (blood, urine, stool, or sputum) and obtaining cultures as ordered by the recipient’s primary physician
